For everyone that commented that they couldn't see Chickie's picture, here she is.
Carol, I understand what you are talking about the "mean" breeds of dogs.
But I want to say, there are NO mean dogs. If a dog is mean, it has been made that way by it's human. Even then, that dog can be changed by the right handling. I have been involved with dogs and dog training for many years and currently, I follow the Cesar Millan method of dog psychology--not dog training. It makes good sense. Check out his website http://www.dogpsychologycenter.com/ He's on television on the National Geographic Channel as The Dog Whisperer. Have you seen the show?
